NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's soccer team (2-9-1, 1-3 OVC) returns to E.S. Rose Park for a full weekend of action. The Bruins host Murray State (7-4, 3-0 OVC) on Friday and in-state rival Austin Peay (6-5, 2-1 OVC) on Sunday afternoon.
Murray State comes to Nashville looking to extend its win streak to three consecutive matches. The Racers stand at 7-4 overall and are undefeated in OVC play with a 3-0 mark.
MSU is led in scoring by Harriet Withers who has found the back of the net six times. Taylor Richerson leads the team in assists with a total of four. In goal, Shelby Haworth leads the goalkeeper corps, logging over 765 minutes. She has a GAA of 1.65 and has recorded 31 saves.
BU leads the all-time series, 5-1, including a 2-0 victory at Murray last season.
In-state rival Austin Peay makes the short trip to Middle Tennessee sporting a 6-5 overall mark and a 2-1 mark in conference play.
The Govs are led in scoring by McKenzie Dixon, who has netted eight goals. Three players have notched two assists apiece. Between the posts, Lindsey Todd has done the lion's share of the work, logging over 840 minutes. She has grabbed 40 saves and has a GAA of 1.83.
APSU leads the all-time series, 5-2-2. Last year, the Bruins won 4-2 in Clarksville for their season finale match.
Belmont will host its first home series this weekend at Rose Park, on the hunt for its third win on the home pitch. The Bruins stand at 2-9-1 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
Belmont is led in scoring by freshmen Emily Whitcomb (Elmhurst, Ill.) and Allie Svoboda (Lisle, Ill.), who have each scored twice. Junior Meg Howard (Brentwood, Tenn.), freshman Heather Ferarri (Duluth, Ga.), and senior Rachel Dill (Carmel, Ind.) lead the team in assists with two apiece. Between the posts, junior Stephanie Bukovec (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) has logged over 1110 minutes. She has also collected 73 saves and sports a 1.46 GAA.
Junior Stephanie Bukovec is currently ranked 34th nationally in saves per game, averaging 6.0 per contest. She is also ranked 22nd in total saves and 115th in save percentage among all NCAA Division I goalkeepers as of October 7. The Toronto native is stopping 80.2 percent of shots that come her way.

Fans attending on Friday night are asked to don Belmont Red in celebration of CODE RED NIGHT and Friday Night Futbol. The first 50 fans in attendance will receive Pizza Perfect coupons. At halftime, all fans can attempt to score a goal from the opposite side of the field for prizes.
On Sunday, Bruin fans are asked to wear pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and THINK PINK. The program is also celebrating Youth Club Soccer and YMCA Youth Soccer Day, asking all youth in attendance to wear their jerseys and enjoy a meet and greet Autograph session with the Bruins after the match. At halftime, all fans can play Peg the Posts for Pizza where they can shoot a ball to win pizza coupons.
