Women's Tennis Falls to North Florida 6-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Belmont women's tennis team fell to North Florida 6-1 in an Atlantic Sun Conference match played Friday in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Ospreys took the lead early as they swept all three doubles matches.  In singles, they posted wins in five of the six matches to clinch the 6-1 victory.  Belmont's lone win came at number four as junior Carolyn Caire defeated Simona Weymar 6-3, 6-3.

Belmont (5-10, 2-4) is back on the court tomorrow as they play at Jacksonville beginning at 9:00am CT.
