CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Belmont women's tennis team won their second straight match as they swept Southeast Missouri 6-0 in an OVC match played Friday in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

The Bruins continued their solid play from Thursday, capturing all six singles matches to clinch the 6-0 victory over the homestanding Redhawks.

At position one, sophomore Lindsey Whitehead beat Mariya Kostyuk 6-1, 6-3.  Sophomore Laura Van Eeckhoudt won at number two as she beat Viviana Ortiz 7-5, 6-1.  Junior Kendall Warren won her fifth conference match of the season as she defeated Maria Montenegro 6-2, 6-0.
