NASHVILLE, TENN. – The Belmont women's tennis team is back in action on Saturday as they host Tennessee State at Nashboro Village.

Going into the matches, the Bruins are 11-6 for the season and 4-1 in conference play after winning two matches against Eastern Illinois and SIUE last weekend.

Sophomore Erin Allen leads the team with 14 singles wins and a 4-1 record in the OVC.  Fellow sophomore Terra Sheldon has 13 wins and an identical 4-1 conference record.  Sheldon and partner Maria Plaksina are 11-6 in doubles and 3-1 in the OVC.  

Tennessee State enters the weekend with a 5-12 overall record and 0-6 in the conference.  They have lost nine matches in a row.

Saturday's match will be played indoors at Nashboro Village and will begin at 12:00 noon.
