Prior to Belmont: As a senior, Person teamed with fellow Belmont volleyball player Brie Lewis as the duo led their St. James Academy squad to a perfect 46-0 record, dropping only one set, on their way to capturing both the 2013 Kansas 5A State Championship and Prep Volleyball National Championship ... Captured four state championships as a member of the St. James Academy volleyball team ... Lost only six times and posted a 177-6 overall record during her four-year volleyball prep career ... As a senior, Person was named the Kansas 5A State Player of the Year and was honored as the 2013-14 Female Scholar Athlete of the Year by the Kansas City Star ... Named as a First-Team All American selection by Volleyball Magazine and a Second-Team All American by the AVCA ...
