NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women's cross country team remained in the region's top-15 in the latest US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) weekly poll released Monday. The Bruins slipped to 11th place in the South Region, down two spots from last week.
Belmont remains one of only two Ohio Valley Conference programs to be regionally ranked by USTFCCCA. Eastern Kentucky improved to fifth place in the Southeast Region.
Belmont returns to action on Friday, October 16 when it competes in the Crimson Classic, hosted by Alabama. The 5K race will be held at Harry Pritchett Running Park.
